OPEN YOUR HOME AND GROW YOUR COMMUNITY
Tablemakers embodies the belief that entertaining is supposed to be a celebration – a beautiful, wabi-sabi celebration of friendship and community.
It is not about making things flawless or Pinterest-perfect; it is about inviting others into your space and building community. Our goal, throughout this whole series, is to inspire you to open your home and grow your community. To organize a happy hour, a lunch, or a dinner party for 12.
Whatever it is, it doesn’t have to be perfect – it just has to be honest and true.

Meet Our Founder
FOUNDER OF TABLEMAKERS AND LAURENKELP.COM
Never missing an excuse to throw a dinner party, Lauren started Tablemakers in 2014, because she believes entertaining doesn’t have to be stressful or stuffy, it just has to be thoughtful. As the host and founder of this pop-up dinner party concept, she has been able to work with brands like Crate & Barrel to celebrate the launch of new collections, introduce influencers to spirit companies all over the country, and commemorate a successful New York Fashion Week with independent designers & mega beauty brands alike.
Entertaining doesn’t have to be stressful or stuffy, it just has to be thoughtful.
The hope for each and every Tablemakers dinner is for a celebratory atmosphere to be created. No pretenses, no agenda, just a dinner party to bring interesting people together who are doing innovative & thoughtful things in a community. A place where we can eat, drink, break bread, make new friends & celebrate the joy that is community.

“It’s a beautiful thing when a career and passion come together, especially at one dinner! Encouragement, inspirational, motivational, and genuine friendships… these are all the things I felt after a beautiful evening at the Tablemakers event. Being surrounded by so many amazing women at one table was the perfect breath of fresh air everyone can benefit from. No guard needed, no ulterior motives or competitive vibes — but rather love, encouragement, and supportive words from girl bosses all over the country. You will be sure to leave with an extra pep in your step and friendships that will last a lifetime. Needless to say, I will travel far and wide to attend any future Tablemakers events.”

“I was fortunate to attend a Tablemakers event during New York Fashion Week last year. The event was one of the highlights, not because of the stunning tablescape or delicious food (although this undoubtedly added to the experience) but because of the people. A small, intimate location made for a comfortable, relaxed evening where the focus was on enjoying one another’s company. I was lucky to make some wonderful new friendships that night, that I know I’ll have for many years to come. Thank you Tablemakers for a wonderful night to remember!”

“Our favorite thing about these Tablemakers Dinners is that they embody the art of entertaining. They bring together people from all parts of the creative community, invite them to sit down and break bread, and create something amazing. As a business owner, it was phenomenal exposure to have this many influencers and creatives in one room, exposed to our brand in a unique and authentic way.”
